The HaHbHc Walking Pad Treadmill has a lot of features for a smaller-type treadmill. It keeps track of all the pertinent information on the nice bright screen. It’s easy to see when walking on the pad. I could easily see myself walking and walking while using the built-in iPad or phone holder right in front of you on the grab bar.
I did try the incline, but I personally struggle with walking at an incline, so I didn’t really test it too hard. It does work though. I could feel the burn.
As far as running on the treadmill, it does very well. I tried to film while running but I am not that coordinated.
The pad absorbs the extra “oomph” you do while running. It actually tackles the force with ease. All while remaining quiet. It’s quite something.
I found myself daydreaming as I walked for around 60 minutes. I worked up a good sweat and forgot about the time. I forgot I was even on a treadmill.
I have been on the big, fancy treadmills at the gym and this one, although smaller, does a comparable job.
I would not have any hesitations about switching to this smaller machine. Especially if space is limited and you want or need something easy to move out of the way.
This treadmill checks all the boxes!
A couple of things I saw that could use improvement in the future models would be a better working remote control. It works fine for the most part, but I tried to change from “time” to “distance” and other such information on the screen. Instead of cycling through the options, it would just pause the machine. I would then have to restart the machine. The other buttons such as adjusting the “speed” and “power” button worked marvelously.
I did end up getting a separate remote designed for this model of treadmill and I had the same outcome as the remote it came with. I did however, like the way the redesigned remote looks, and feels in your hand. It just has that shiny, flashy design and I found the buttons to be better positioned.
Another thing about the HaHbHc walking pad treadmill is that the grab bar is not held in place by anything. I did snap a photo of this. It would really benefit from some removable pins through the part where the bottom of the grab bar inserts into the machine body. To hold the bar in place.
I would hate to be going too fast and for some reason not be able to adjust the speed and yank the bar all the way out of the machine. I think this minor adjustment would make a world of difference as far as safety is concerned.
Lastly, I wanted to talk about assembly. It was such a breeze that I saved it as my last review. It was so very SIMPLE! It pretty well comes all ready to go! You insert the handle/grab bar. You put the tablet holder in the two corresponding places on the top of the bar. You then screw them down with the included tool. After that, you are pretty much set. It could not be any easier.
It also comes with directions of course and a neat add-in besides the free tool, was the addition of some line for your machine.
Lubricant is essential to help maintain your new piece of workout equipment.
To sum up my novel of a review, I would not hesitate on purchasing this unit again.
I find it very useful for my health and wellbeing.
It is easy to put where I want and it is easy to get going with walking. So much so that I walked for 60 minutes without even thinking about it.
It is easy to maneuver around the house, even on my 1970s, outdated and high carpet.
Everything just works so seamlessly.
So make this purchase! You will be glad you did.
