Unrecognizable Emmy winner, 65, shows off dramatic weight loss

Camryn Manheim looked unrecognizable as she showed off her dramatic weight loss.

The Emmy-winning actress flaunted her slim figure at the opening night of Rosie O’Donnell’s one-woman show “Common Knowledge” in New York City last week.

For the outing, Manheim wore a patterned blouse, jeans and beaded jewelry.

The 65-year-old confidently posed on the carpet with some of her famous friends, including Julie Halston and Ricki Lake.

Manheim is best known for her roles in “The Practice,” “Law & Order” and “Scary Movie 3.”

She has also been a strong advocate for body positivity over her decades-long career in Hollywood.

Back in 1998, while accepting her Emmy for portraying defense attorney Ellenor Frutt in “The Practice,” she proudly declared during her speech, “This is for all the fat girls.”

“My platform is not fat acceptance, it’s self-acceptance,” she told the New York Times in 1999. “My weight is being celebrated.”

Later in life, Manheim explained that she worked really hard to pave the way for plus-sized people.

“I’ve made my mark by being vocal,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in 2019.

“I just play roles that have nothing to do with my size, but with my power and spirit. It’s who I am at the core of my being. That’s what’s happening in the second tier of my career.”

Despite representing plus-size women on-screen for decades, the Golden Globe winner has undergone a weight loss transformation in recent years.

But her fans praised her for her new look on social media after she uploaded snaps from her friend O’Donnell’s show via Instagram Wednesday.

“You look amazing!” one fan gushed. “You look fabulous!!!❤️❤️❤️” another wrote.

A third added, “You look as young as when I first saw you in the early 2000’s acting. You just look beautiful and full of life!”
